The Subconscious Part of a Quilt

I have always enjoyed looking at the back of someones needlework piece. It feels kinda perverted but I like to see the patterns or the code that they made. It is like looking at the subconscious of the piece. With other art forms you are just invited to look at the front and your interest in the back is usually not relevant.
