I have been busy crazy quilting the space around the blocks with velvet or plush fabrics.
The quilt is called The Ties That Bind.
The hexagon squares in the corners are made of silk ties.
The velvet is suppose to remind you of the female ties
that bind you to patterns that don't serve you anymore.
