Today's art was making tamales.
I pat out the dough on to a potato chip bag.
I put the filling in the middle and then fold the bottom and top toward the middle.
I use the bag to do the folding for me.
At the Eugene Saturday Market we enjoy buying tamales and they always have a prune in the tamale. We like this so I put a purne in the middle.
I wrapped my tamales in an sheet of aluminum foil,
with a banana leaf on top of the tamale for flavor.
I have never heard of putting a prune on a tamale but it sounds delicious!
